The Siskiyou Institute Artists-in-Schools Program
In 2006, the Siskiyou Institute began offering a new Artists-in-Schools component to its programming. With education being a primary focus of our mission, weve developed this visiting artist program for the schools in our area. The idea is to expand upon the Concert/Workshop Series by having the guest artist(s) (when available) lead a workshop in a school or schools during their visit to the Rogue Valley. The program will also recruit artists from the fine music teachers/performers in our local area to provide year-round program opportunities.
To enable us to continue and expand this program, we will need support from local businesses and individuals. If you would like to support music education in our schools, please contact the Siskiyou Institute and we can tell you more about this program and how to make a contribution.
All contributions are tax-deductible (as allowed by law).
Please make your check payable to: The Siskiyou Institute.
